Come be part of the 11th Annual End Hunger Dragon Boat Festival and spend the day in North Beach. You will enjoy a family friendly atmosphere, the dragon boat races, and more! Best of all, you will be part of our community coming together to support End Hunger In Calvert County.

We’re so excited to have you & your team participate in this year’s End Hunger Dragon Boat Festival! We now have the option to register online or via paper. Below you will find a link to our online registration and step-by-step instruction for paper registrations. If you run into any trouble or have any questions, don’t hesitate to email us at dragonboat@endhungercalvert.org.

Remember, as a Team Captain, the only way for you to secure your team spot in the festival is to put down your deposit of $1,000.

Step 1: Download and read the Team Captain Packet. This packet includes all paper forms needed for the registration process and important deadlines you will need to build your team. Be sure to read through the Team Captains Packet entirely, even if you have been a Team Captain in the past – we have several great upgrades!
Step 2: Fill out the Team Captain Registration Form (page 2 of Team Captains Packet).
Step 3: Fill out the Paddler Registration Form (page 10) & the Paddler Waiver (page 11). Each paddler must fill out a waiver before they are able to step onto a boat.
Step 4: Bring in your $1,000 deposit for your team in order to hold your spot in the festival. This will also allow you to choose your team t-shirt color, practice night and tent location.

Any paper forms, waivers or payments can be submitted by the deadlines included in the Team Captain packet:

For Paddlers Who Are Joining Their Team:

Step 1: Download the End Hunger Dragon Boat Paddler Registration & Waiver Forms. Each paddler must fill out a waiver before they are able to step onto a boat. Once you have a complete registration form & waiver, please give it to your Team Captain by July 22, 2022.
NOTE: End Hunger will not be responsible for individual registrations & waivers that are not submitted to the Team Captain.

For Paddlers Who Don’t Have a Team:

Step 1:Download the End Hunger Dragon Boat Paddler Registration & Waiver Forms. Each paddler must fill out a waiver before they are able to step onto a boat. Once you have a complete registration form & waiver, please hold onto it for your Team Captain.
NOTE: End Hunger will not be responsible for individual registrations & waivers that are not submitted to the Team Captain.

Step 2: Email us at dragonboat@endhungercalvert.org and let us know that you want to be placed on a team! Assignments are typically finalized in mid May/early June.
