End Hunger Month

Powerful Shot Of Sad Child

EVENT INFORMATION

The Maryland State Senate and Calvert County Board of Commissioners officially declared October as End Hunger In Calvert County Month. In partnership with our 73 Partner Feeding Organizations, End Hunger feeds 25,000 people and over 1.5 million pounds of food distributed into Southern Maryland every year.

During the entire month of October, there are lots of ways you can get involved and teach your family about the importance of caring for the hungry in our community. We have partnered with Calvert County Public Schools to create a county-wide food drive – you and your family can be involved in restocking our Partner Food Pantry shelves and show that as a county, we are UNITED behind the idea that hunger can be defeated.

It’s time to show our community what’s important.

During the End Hunger Month, we need you to be the Champions for our community. We have set a goal to fundraise $20,000 to end hunger, and we know we can do it. Our partners at Constellation have agreed to match $10,000 in donations. Donate now and help us reach out goal!

Donate now and change the lives of families right here in our community.
