End Hunger Calvert Cash Program

Why volunteer?

Calvert Cash is a program that provides free tax assistance to individuals and families earning less than $66,000 annually. This is a truly free opportunity for low income Southern Maryland residents to reserve a computer to utilize the online software and file their 2018 tax return and receive the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).

Volunteer Opportunities

There are several ways to get involved with Calvert Cash this year! Below is a list of volunteer opportunities for you to check and see which is a good fit for you. All volunteer opportunities are available on Tuesday + Wednesday from 9:30AM-12:30PM at Chesapeake Church. Once you have an idea of what you would like to do, please fill out the volunteer form below. Someone from the End Hunger team will get back to you within 48 hours.

  • Greeter – welcome clients and helps ensure they have everything they need to successfully file their own taxes.
  • Client Coach – provide clients with encouragement and assistance as they file their own taxes using the FREE, easy and thorough online software.
