About Calvert Cash
Calvert Cash is a program that provides free tax services to individuals and families earning less than $66,000 annually. In addition participants can claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), which could be worth thousands towards your return!
Calvert Cash is an opportunity to care for the needy in our community face-to-face by providing them with coaching and financial education. While previous knowledge is helpful, it is not necessary to have background in tax preparation or accounting to be a Calvert Cash volunteer. This is a truly free opportunity for low income Southern Maryland residents to file their 2017 tax return and receive the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
There are several ways to get involved with Calvert Cash this year! Below is a list of volunteer opportunities for you to check and see which is a good fit for you. All volunteer opportunities are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and select Saturdays from 8:45AM – 12:15PM. Once you have an idea of what you would like to do, please fill out the volunteer form below. Someone from the End Hunger team will get back to you within 48 hours.
