Huntingtown, MD: End Hunger In Calvert County (EHCC) is hosting its 14th annual Bike Ride to raise money and awareness for people facing food insecurity in the Southern Maryland region. This event is in partnership with Annapolis Nissan. Other sponsorship partners include Crownstone and Steve Brien of Home Towne Real Estate.

Four routes are available for cyclists of all levels, beginner to experienced, and go along the scenic roads of Southern Maryland’s bay front, marina, farmland, and wineries. Rest Stops where refreshments will be available include Faith of Assembly of God, Friday’s Creek Winery, Herrington on the Bay, and Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary. A 16-mile group will ride together at 10:00 AM guided by an experienced cyclist, and will include an orientation on road rules and safety. A post-ride picnic will await riders at Chesapeake Church with food, live music, and raffle tickets for prizes.
Registration is open up until the day of the event. A 2023 Bike Jersey is also available to purchase. Each participant receives a free bike t-shirt, water bottle, swag bag, and refreshments at rest stops and will have access to the Post-Ride Party. All proceeds from the Bike Ride go directly to support the mission of End Hunger In Calvert County.
