A little time goes a long way.
When you realize how food insecurity affects families right here in our community, it’s hard to stand aside and let it continue. But it’s also tough to know how to help—or even where to start.
When you offer your time to End Hunger, you’ll know you’re making a real and lasting difference for our hungry neighbors.
Be part of something bigger than yourself.
Meet people who care about our community as much as you do.
Invite your kids to experience the joy of serving others.
Know you're giving your time to a worthy cause.
Warehouse volunteer positions change every week. No matter what the task, you’ll feel good knowing you’re helping our community.
We welcome volunteers as young as 11 with an adult helper. Please wear close-toed shoes.
Our community events are a ton of fun, and the volunteers behind them are the secret sauce.
Whether you help at our Bike Ride, End Hunger Month, or Dragon Boat Festival, you’ll make lasting memories—while making a difference.
Get a front-row seat to life transformation as a volunteer in our Culinary Training Program.
Guest Instructors are the heartbeat of our program. We love having people with diverse skills and experience to help expand our curriculum. If you think you might have something to offer, let us know about it!
Program Assistants are vital to keeping everything running smoothly. We’ll help you find a spot that’s a good fit for you: administrative tasks, shopping for supplies, keeping track of student data, helping instructors, and more.
Kids Kits Volunteers
Hundreds of students throughout Southern Maryland heavily depend on public schools’ free and reduced meal programs for not only their lunches but breakfasts and snacks, too. When the pandemic began in March 2020, these children no longer had access to the food they desperately needed.
Join the weekly volunteers dedicated to packing and distributing Kids Kits, nutritious breakfasts, lunches and snacks, to the 1,300+ students in our community.
